The New Jersey bicycle racing season kicks off in March with the spring series in Branch Brook Park, Newark. This series provides riders with some good early season training and the opportunity for early points towards upgrading. Week number two was the Tour de Newark, with solid action, breakaways, and sprints. Unfortunately a stubborn snow storm cancelled with week's race.
